Most people assume that I have always been thin. They do not realize the hard work it took for me to transform my life and my body. It’s assumed I don't know what it's like to walk into a gym and feel overwhelmed, out of place and intimidated. They think that I have never looked in the mirror and felt completely helpless.
After releasing 80 pounds and transforming my own body with weight training, I knew I had found my passion in fitness. Shortly after, I became an Ace Certified Personal Trainer, Fitness Nutrition and a Senior Fitness Specialist. I have been helping others look and feel their very best for five years and I enjoy every second of it. My goal is to improve the quality of life for all my clients by helping them feel stronger, healthier and more confident. This is why I recently decided to open my own facility specializing in functional fitness for women.
I have practiced many styles of weight training including circuit training, body building and crossfit. By taking what I enjoyed most from each style I found my niche. I create results driven efficient workouts in under 30 minutes for busy women with hectic schedules. Each workout is designed to improve strength, endurance, balance, coordination, improve posture and correct muscle imbalances. I take each client's goals, injuries, medical conditions, abilities, their likes and dislikes into account, and I design a customized program for them that is easy to follow. Ensuring that they stay motivated and they get the results they are hoping for.
Fitness and nutrition saved my life. That is why I became a Personal Trainer and ultimately decided to open my own location.
